Working with children is a profession that requires:

• Knowledge of how children learn, grow and develop
• Skills to communicate effectively with children and parents
• A great amount of passion and dedication

Specialized education and training are essential for these ECE teachers to succeed. Therefore, we are committed to ongoing training. All staff are required to attend 1 professional growth conference per year.

Teachers must also complete:

• 12 CEU’s per year in child development (annually)
• Child Abuse and Neglect training (annually)
• Recertification in First aid, CPR and Universal Precautions annually
• Annual CACFP Food Program training
